Croatia to investigate Denmark from the World Cup on penalties

The Croatian team won a tough win over Denmark in the World Cup after a marathon match on Sunday.
The original and extra time ended in a 1-1 draw with two goals in the first four minutes, while the penalty shootout ended with a 3-2 victory over Croatia.

Croatia beat Croatia, who qualified earlier on Sunday at Spain's expense, with penalties.

Denmark opened the scoring with the goal of Matthias Jorgensen after 57 seconds, which became the fastest goal in the World Cup.

However, Mario Manzukic quickly equalized for Croatia in the 4th minute.

Excitement was absent from the rest of the game, until the referee made a penalty for Croatia in the second overtime, in 113 minutes.

However, Peter Schmeichel made the most of a shot from Luka Modric.

Schmeichel rekindled his brilliance during the penalty shootout and saved from two shots for Milan Pedelli and Josip Bevarić, but Croatia goalkeeper Daniel Sobasic blocked three Danish kicks for Christian Eriksson, Lacy Shawnie and Nicole Jorgensen.
