The decision by Joachim Loew saves the German federation

Despite Germany's exit from the group stage at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, soccer officials in the country welcomed coach Joachim Loew's decision to remain in his post with great satisfaction.

Loew decided to continue working with the team until the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He began his career in 2006 and presented one of the most successful periods in the history of Manchvat over 12 years in charge.

The replacement was a big headache for German football officials, especially as the team, which won the World Cup in Brazil with Loew, will kick off the first phase of the Champions League in early September.

Bundesliga officials did not have a ready-made alternative plan if Loew decided to leave the team, especially since the early exit from the World Cup was not expected before the team traveled to Russia.

Now Loew will need to be carefully scrutinized for this team, which he himself won the 2014 World Cup and the 2017 Confederations Cup.

Loew now needs to oust some of the players who have achieved this tremendous success for nearly a decade.

In a statement issued by the German Football Federation, Loew said he was "very grateful" to the trust shown by the federation and that "despite the justified criticism of the team's exit from the World Cup, there is a tremendous amount of support and encouragement in general."

"I will study with my team, hold talks and get the right results at the start of the new season ... All this takes time, but it will be done precisely with the start of the new international season in September," he said.
