Zidane does not want to coach France

French football federation president Noel Lo-Graet said former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has not shown a desire to take over as coach of France, so coach Didier Deschamps will remain in office until 2020.

Zidane ended two and a half seasons with Real Madrid in May after leading the team to nine titles including three successive titles of the Champions League, the last of which was the final of the last edition in Kiev.

After his resignation, Zidane was nominated as French coach, with Didier Deschamps being criticized for his success in winning the 2018 World Cup.

Although Deschamps has won the second title in France's history, criticism is still open because of the way they play, which does not highlight the skills of young French players, but Le Graitte confirmed that Deschamps remained on a television channel.

"We have a contract with Deschamps running until 2020, he's a man who loves work and he and his team spend a lot of time studying opponents," he said.
